Soul Sessions was created as a launch pad for unsigned artists. This showcase is unlike any other. This is a show for break out performers who are on the pathway to stardom. We are currently looking for the following types of performers: R&B, Soul, Gospel, Hip Hop Soul (think Common, Digable Planets, De La Soul, Mos Def.) Performers.
Artists selected to perform in Soul Sessions:
Will perform in the March 2008 showcase
Perform live in front of record label executives. Past attendees include A&R’s from Island Def Jam, RU 1 Records and By Any Means Syndicate.
Will receive customized promotional flyers for event
Will receive sponsor driven gift bags featuring CD’s, magazines, and other great giveaways.
Participate in a great networking opportunity. On the night of the showcase, artists should be prepared with CD’s, bios, and media kits.
Will be eligible to perform in the Urban Music Festival premiering in the fall of 2010.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $20 and $40 for groups of 3 or more. NO TICKET SALES INVOLVED FOR PERFORMERS. To set an appointment contact:
